The Alliance upholds the guiding philosophy that “The world belongs to the ethnic groups, and the ethnic groups belong to the world.” Representatives of the world’s 2,500 ethnic groups will assemble to conduct in-depth exchanges and consultations on the founding of the Harmony Community International Alliance.
The Harmony Community refers to the building of a Community of Shared Future for Mankind through the power of harmonious culture. The establishment of the Harmony Community International Alliance responds to the new trends in the global landscape and the imperative to construct a new international order. It constitutes a concrete action, grounded in the principles of social harmony and world peace, to address the prevailing turbulence in global affairs.
Declaration of Purpose
The representatives solemnly declared: The founding purpose of the Alliance is to take equality, inclusiveness, exchange, and win-win cooperation as its core; to pool the collective strength of all ethnic groups; to jointly safeguard the cultural heritage of humanity; and to build a peaceful homeland together. It aims to thoroughly eliminate ethnic estrangement, dissolve civilizational barriers, end wars and conflicts, bridge development gaps, and protect the precious treasures of humanity’s diverse civilizations. This is a great undertaking to unite the forces of coexistence among all peoples and to lay a firm foundation for enduring world peace.
Call to Action
The representatives issued a call to action: The peoples of all ethnic groups worldwide should unite to inaugurate and practice a path toward humanity’s sustainable and prosperous future. Upholding our shared conscience, original aspiration, mission, and vision, we shall establish grand aspirations for harmony and peace, follow the prevailing trend of the times, respond to the heartfelt expectations of all peoples, and devote ourselves wholeheartedly — sparing no effort
— to the overarching cause of safeguarding and advancing human civilization.
Core Principles
The Alliance takes the approximately 2,500 ethnic groups existing on Earth as its sole core unit and equal collaborative body. It does not use national borders, racial characteristics, civilizational hierarchy, religious differences, or economic strength as criteria for differentiation. Bearing firmly in mind the Alliance’s purpose of “uniting ethnic strengths to jointly steer the destiny of humanity,” it adheres to the central theme of “strengthening world ethnic solidarity and integrating harmonious peace culture.”
The Alliance upholds the common values of all humanity — peace, development, equity, justice, democracy, and freedom — as its overarching guiding principle. It transcends differences in ideology, social systems, and stages of development in order to forge a value consensus among the peoples of all ethnic groups. We take the building of a new type of international relations as our overall support, promoting mutual respect, equity and justice, and win-win cooperation as the fundamental pillar, thereby laying a solid foundation in both international and inter-ethnic relations for the construction of a global system of harmony and peace.
The Alliance will implement the Global Development Initiative, Global Security Initiative, Global Civilization Initiative, and Global Governance Initiative, using them as strategic guidance to provide concrete action plans for advancing world harmony and peace.
Six Dimensions of Harmony
On the platform of the World Ethnic Congress and the Harmony Community International Alliance, the Alliance will:
- promote national rejuvenation through ethnic harmony;
- coordinate ecological balance through harmony between heaven and humanity;
- construct world peace through harmony among states;
- promote global tranquility through religious harmony;
- integrate the flourishing of all affairs through family harmony; and
- maintain social stability through harmony between the individual and the group.
Global Initiative
The Alliance solemnly puts forward the following initiative: The 2,500 ethnic groups of the world should have larger groups assist smaller ones, wealthy groups assist impoverished ones, and strong groups assist weaker ones, jointly embarking on the path of common rejuvenation, prosperity, strength, harmony, and peace.
Commitment to Inclusive Development
The Alliance is committed to promoting common development, with particular emphasis on providing focused support to remote ethnic groups, mountain ethnic groups, island ethnic groups, polar ethnic communities, and endangered small-population ethnic groups. It will assist in cultural preservation, livelihood improvement, educational advancement, and ecological protection, ensuring that the fruits of development benefit every ethnic group.
